My name is Ange and I am a foodie, wife, mother, runner, teacher, writer and all-around hyperactive person. I started this blog after too many friends complained that I make & post about all of these interesting dishes but don’t have time to write down the recipes. So here you go!

I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember. I believe my first dish was mac & cheese (the blue box!) for my brother when I was about 5 (yes, the babysitter helped). I was born in New Orleans, LA, where good food is a staple, and grew up with a base for how to cook by scratch. When I moved away from at 18, I had to start cooking for myself and my roommates (who thought powdered potato flakes were quite adequate mashed potatoes – yuck!! Sorry, Spring!), and have been going ever since. I’m married to a tall fellow and have two tall, hungry boys who all enjoy my experiments.

I hope you’ll join me on this foodie journey. I’m a food nerd, I admit. It’s just so much fun!

Oh, and I also do web & blog design to fund my knife habit…

Angelicious.com Web Design

I began working as a web designer and freelance writer in 1997, publishing my first article in a regional computer magazine the following winter. In 1999, I started a website for at-home parents called The Light Keeper, which receives visitors from all over the world. Since then, I have worked on websites for a wide variety of clients, including real estate, accounting, writers, churches, non-profit organizations, and many more.

I am fluent in HTML and CSS, and design sites that meet the needs of my clients with a focus on clean code and compliance with HTML standards. My background as a freelance writer enables me to help create polished, professional content for my clients’ websites, as well.

Small Client Base

The client base for Angelicious Web Design is rather small, and with good reason. My clients deserve the best I can give them: a web designer who focuses on quality over quantity. Most of my clients stay with me for years, and many former clients return as their needs change.

Community Focus

I believe my responsibilities as a freelancer include giving back to the community, and I do that by donating services to non-profit organizations dedicated to helping others. My non-profit clients include Northwest Children’s Outreach, an organization dedicated to helping families in the Pacific Northwest, as well as other non-profit organizations.
